Privacy Policy

THE PORTUGUESE LIST is a digital project of Escalas & Planos Unipessoal, Lda. with the objective of showing, promoting and creating content related to Portuguese brands and products that combine high quality, design trends and quality.

For the normal operation of the website, personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, regarding personal data protection and which revokes Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

In accordance with this privacy policy, the website assumes the obligation to inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal data it collects, uses and processes. Furthermore, as owner of the data, you are informed – through this document – of your rights.

I. Cookies

All website pages use cookies.

Cookies are files sent to an Internet browser via a web server to record all user activity on a particular website.

Primarily, these cookies have the purpose of analyzing trends, behavior behavior throughout the website, and administration and development of the website, recording the interests and preferences of visitors.

This tracking is done anonymously, associating only a code to the device and browser used in each visit. This means that we can neither detect any other personal data, nor correlate the data obtained with an identified or identifiable person.

Additionally, both the website, the services we use and any marketing partners, may use advertising cookies. These cookies serve not only to show you advertising that we think is most relevant to you and your interests, but also to prevent you from being shown the same advertising too often, and to analyze the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

When you visit the website, you will always be asked for your permission to use cookies. Alternatively you can configure your browser to notify and reject the creation of cookies (see how to configure Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari). However, please note that rejecting cookies may limit the functionality and quality of the website.

Google Analytics

This Google analytics service uses cookies to analyze statistical data about visitors’ usage and behavior within the website, preparing reports that serve us to improve the website pages and content.

II. Newsletter

Visitors and website followers have the possibility to subscribe to a newsletter, which we will send regularly with relevant information on the topics of our website.

To subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the name and e-mail address of the subscriber, and for legal reasons we will send a confirmation e-mail to effect the subscription.

The data collected for newsletter subscription are processed through Sendinblue (you can check their Data Protection Policy here), and will only be used for sending the newsletter. There will be no transfer, sharing or assignment of these personal data with third parties.

At any time you can revoke your consent by means of an unsubscribe link present at the bottom of all newsletters we send, or simply by sending an e-mail to [email protected] requesting the complete removal of the stored data.

III. Direct contact

Each time you contact the website, through the contact form on the website or directly by e-mail, the data you provide (such as name and e-mail address) will be received at [email protected] and processed manually.

These data will only be used for the purpose of replying to the message sent and, when applicable, we may keep a copy of your e-mail in order to resolve the situation you present to us.
At no time will we share these data with third parties, nor will they be entered in any database without your consent.
